New formula is awful
"I am allergic/sensitive to fragrances and was thrilled to find the original version of this conditioner, which actually moisturized my long, straight hair without weighing it down or causing rashes, itching, or break outs. It consistently left my slightly coarse hair tangle-free, silky soft, smooth, and very shiny. The new formula is not nearly as moisturizing yet my hair is visibly greasy almost immediately after showering. It also causes my scalp and skin to itch. PLEASE bring back the original formula; there aren't many fragrance-free shampoos/conditioners, but I've probably tried them all and the original formula was by far the best one I found. For now, I'm forced to resume the search for a new product."

No longer for sensitive scalps!
"It took me years to find a conditioner that did not irritate my scalp. The new conditioner formula does not provide this benefit and makes my hair feel coarse. Too bad you are not really reading this post, and an AI bot is providing the same feedback to everyone. Time to start looking for another product."

THEY REMOVED THE AMODIMETHICONE WHY!!!!!
"I FELL IN LOVE WITH THE ULTRA SENSITIVE LINE I HONESTLY DIDNT THINK IT WOULD WORK FOR MY HIGH POROSITY DAMAGED KINKY CURLY HAIR I HAVE SOO MUCH HAIR BUT MY STRANDS ARE FINE /MEDIUM. IVE TRIED ALL OF THE ODELE CONDITIONERS NONE OF THEM WOWED ME THEY ARE GOOD BUT THEY WERE ALL MISSING SOMETHING. I TRIED THE ULTRA SENSITIVE LINE ON A WHIM AND FELL IN LOVE. I WAS ABOUT TO RUN TO THE STORE AND STOCK UP BECAUSE I WAS GONNA GET THE WHOLE LINE FOR MY FAMILY TO USE AS OUR STAPLE HAIR CARE PRODUCTS. THEN I REALIZED THE FORMULA IS DIFFERENT THE PRODUCT THAT I FELL IN LOVE WITH IS COMPLETELY DIFFERENT. IM SO SAD NOW I AM ON THE HUNT FOR BOTTLES OF THE OLD FORMULA OR A HAIRCARE LINE SIMILAR TO ODELE WITH AMODIMETHICONE."

Why did you change the formula?
"It was the only good conditioner on the market. Been using it for years and years. And now what. The people that don't like silicones can buy something else. The market is FLOODED with silicone free conditioners that just don't work."

it was a special product. not anymore
"the reformulation killed a special and outstanding product. they replaced a sophisticated formula using Amodimethicone with cheap oils. hair feels heavier with the oils and protein makes it crispier/less smooth/natural looking"

Why did you reformulate this?
"Just adding another voice to the chorus, that I loved the original and am very skeptical of this reformulation. Coconut oil does not do well for my hair or scalp, and I'm actually very surprised at putting this ingredient in a product labeled "ultra-sensitive". The amodimethicone in the old version was the main reason I liked it. Now there is zero amodimethicone. Please bring back the original! I know I will get a canned response, and have to look to other brands. . . again. . ."

New formulation is bad
"This is so frustrating. After years of searching for a fragrance free shampoo that didn’t irritate my scalp or completely dry out my hair, i finally found this Ultra sensitive shampoo and conditioner and it was perfect - no itching or irritation and still left my hair moisturized and smooth. Well, I just bought more and my hair has started becoming so dry and tangled so I looked at the ingredients and saw they changed both the shampoo and conditioner and took the amodimethicone and dimethicone out of the conditioner - so disappointing!!!! I guess I’m back to searching for something else. Odele, please switch back to the old formula, this new one is horrible."

New formula is terrible
"I'm so disappointed with this new formulation. I do not understand why you would remove amodimethicone, the ingredient that made this conditioner so good, and add coconut oil to a conditioner for people with sensitive skin and allergies. Coconut is a well known allergen for so many people. Really disappointing."

New formulation not effective nor ultra-sensative
"I am devastated at the reformulation. The previous version was great! Softening, smoothing AND non-irritating. The new formula is less smoothing, less softening, greasier, AND irritating to my sensitive skin and scalp. I'm super bummed as most fragrance free conditioners are inadequate for my hair needs or contain other ingredients I am sensitive to. I hope the prior formulation comes back!"
